how to cut your kaizen foam insert
This video shows you how to cut your kaizen foam. We used a long nose marker from FastCap.com. Any other skinny marker would work, as well. The knife we used was an adjustable, thin blade version that lets you go around the corners very easily. Once making your outline cut with a shallow blade, adjust the depth of blade to the thickness of the gun or accessories you are going to conceal. Pull the foam back slowly and get your fingers underneath it to separate the layers. If the bottom looks uneven or rough that's normal and will be covered.
How to mount your flag
In this video, we demonstrate how to mount your flag to the wall. We used 2 1/2" wood screws for studs and the two outside brackets located behind the removable foam layer that are spaced 16" apart. If studs are not available in the location you want to mount, use a heavy duty wall anchor, such as toggle bolts. We recommend at least one of the 3 brackets to be mounted directly to a stud, with a wood screw. Then the others, with the wall anchors.
Operation of locking system
Here we show the operation of the concealed magnetic locking system. The magnet key is stored on top of the flag behind the overlapping top stripe so it is concealed from view. Store the magnet with the green side down so upon grabbing it is in the right position to open the lock. Place the green side of magnet on the area on the flags magnet lock is located (bottom right corner of stars portion and right hand side 8th stripe from the top for bottom compartment). You will hear lock quickly disengage and pull the door quickly to open the compartment. To disengage lock, with door open, compress white latch and flip red lever over to bypass the lock and use just as a door.
